Dear Kids Chance,

I am incredibly happy you guys reached out! To be entirely honest, I was unsure how to begin since I don’t typically talk about myself. However, I’m really excited to share how my year has been so far!

As you are aware, I was accepted into Central Washington University (Go Wildcats📣)! I have chosen to major in Sociology and Psychology. These have always been interests of mine. When I was at YVC, I took as many classes as I could on these subjects, so I’m excited to learn more.

As for how my Fall 2025 quarter went, I took four classes. Two of which were Introductions to the Major: one for Sociology, the other for Psychology. As well as an Introduction to Statistics and Theories of Personality course. I received an A in all the classes, making my GPA 3.91!

Additionally, I ended up on the Honor Roll for Fall 2025. I will attach a link below, where you can find me under the P-R section 😊! It should be available here: https://www.cwu.edu/about/offices/registrar/academic-information/honor-roll/fall-honor-roll.php

As of now, I’m enrolled in three classes, which are Research Methods of Psychology, Sociology of Immigration, and Social Psychology. So far, I’m enjoying my classes even though the workload is heavy. I am striving to make the Honor Roll once more, but time will tell.

The future career I have in mind is working in the Foster Care System. While I’m not entirely sure of what position I want to be in, I’d ideally work directly with the children, either by checking on their home environment or working as a therapist. I feel like this job will help me give back to the community I live in.

Some hobbies I do to pass the time are painting, baking, making clay figures, and creating nail sets. My favorite hobby is a toss-up between reading a good book while cuddling with my dogs or movie nights with my parents.
